ABOUT ME
I am an Asian- American Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado. I began my social work career in the field of Human Services. I have over eleven years of experience working with families, individuals, and professionals in the field of mental health, criminal justice, education, and child protection (specifically physical and sexual abuse). Moreover, I have a unique set of clinical skills and provide a wide range of services tailored to support the multifaceted needs of families, individuals, older adults, and professionals in the public service field. I practice from a trauma-informed and social justice lens.
I was born in France to a Hmong refugee family from the Southeast Asia conflict. My family immigrated to the United States in the late 80s where I grew up. Fortunately, growing up I was surrounded by and received a lot of support from my community. Thus, my dedication and passion for public service work. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Metropolitan State University of Denver. In 2011, I obtained a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver. When I'm not working I love to spend time cooking for family and friends, planning parties, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
I am bilingual in English and Hmong.
