This training will provide valuable tools to help communicate with a child about consent. Consent empowers a child to understand their rights in relation to their own body. Using the correct names of body parts, including private parts of the body, plays an important role in body safety. Participants will gain knowledge and skills to teach what consent means and most importantly, that adults are comfortable using the real names of genitals and having conversations about sexual development to best support a child to form a healthy understanding of their body.
