Supervised Visitation

001.jpg

Our Perspective
& Philosophy

The goal of the Supervised Visitation Program is to promote the safety of children during visitation.

The Supervised Visitation Program works collaboratively with custodial and non-custodial caregiver, local organizations, and courts to encourage positive caregiver-child relationships as well as safe, happy visitations.

All supervised visitations are conducted in the community/public within a 30 mile radius of Adams County, Colorado. The non-custodial caregiver is responsible for all costs/fees during the visit (such as zoo entrance fee for the child and supervisor). Due to schedule availability, we only have weekends available for supervised visitations.

We do not conduct supervised visitations in the home at this time.

Fees

  • Intake and orientation fee are $100 per caregiver.

    • Both the custodial and non-custodial caregivers must participate in the intake and orientation session separately.

  • Supervised visitations are $150 per hour.

  • Court appearances are $250 per hour.

  • Preparation for court appearances and reports/documentation are $150 an hour.

Payments are due five days prior to the date of service.

*At any time during the intake and orientation session, or during a visit, we reserve the right to end the session/visit due to safety concerns for the child and/or the supervisor.

*No guests/visitators are allowed to be part of the visit unless approved by the court, and the custodial and non-custodial caregiver.

*Professionals are allowed to observe the supervised visitation with permission by the court, and the custodial and non-custodial caregiver. This permission must be requested and granted in writing at least two weeks before the planned observation.

*Information gathered during visit is often confidential, though mandated reporting laws still apply for suspected child abuse or neglect. Furthermore, information gathered may be shared with the court, professionals, and non-custodial caregiver.
