This training will provide information to improve engagement and decrease unnecessary discord. Because of the potentially long-lasting negative impact of trauma on physical and mental health, there are ways to address and obtain history that will help build rapport and a healthy relationship between the interviewer and interviewee. Participant will gain the knowledge and skills on how to conduct a successful trauma-informed interview or intake session with an adult.
